  • Vita
    Cheon-Sig Lee received his Master Degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in Mathematics with an emphasis in Statistics.  He obtained Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in Biology where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.  His teaching experience started at Texas A&M University-Kingsville as a Tutor at the Learning Assistance Center.  While a graduate student, he worked a Teaching Assistant for Calculus I (Math2413) and as an Instructional Lab Assistant at JavALab (Math Emporium).

    Mr. Lee has worked as full time Mathematics Assistant Professor at Coastal Bend College since 2011.  He has taught Basic Algebra, Beginning Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, and Statistics at Coastal Bend College.  He was awarded Faculty of the Year Award (2012 – 2013).  He has worked as an Assistant Editor for Journal of Model Assisted Statistics and Applications (MASA).

    Mr. Lee likes to play ping-pong and go fishing in spare time.  His research interests are a survey sampling and applied Statistics.  He always expresses his heartfelt thanks to his mentor, Dr. Sarjindar Singh who was the advisor for his master's thesis.  Mr. Lee describes himself, "I physically graduated from Dr. Singh, but not mentally."
