• Before you can register for classes you must comply with state-mandated Bacterial Meningitis immunization requirement and turn in a completed application for admissions and your official high school transcript with your graduation date on it; or your official GED test results to the Admissions/Registrar's Office.  You must also have test scores or evidence of exemption.  Students that have attended another college/colleges must provide official academic transcripts from those colleges.

    Steps of Registration

    Step 1:    Go to www.applytexas.org

    Step 2:    Wait 2-3 business days for your information to be submitted to CBC admissions

    Step 3:    Submit your Bacterial Meningitis shot record to the Admissions Office.  Go to page 23 in our current catalog to see Bacterial Meningitis for requirements, instructions, or exemptions.

    Step 4:    Register for classes with advisor (bring transcripts with you)

    Step 5:    Go to the Business Office

    Step 6:    Get ID card in Library

    Step 7:    Get parking sticker in Business Office

    Step 8:    Go to Bookstore to get your books

    Students are required to see an advisor who will guide students to take the necessary courses needed in each students degree plan. 

    Degree Plans
    Degree plans map out what classes a student should take each semester to graduate with the necessary degree.  Coastal Bend College offers a variety of degrees including an Associate of Arts, Science, and Applied Science; as well as Certificates in a number of workforce education fields.
