TEAS Testing for Nursing Programs: Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)
The TEAS is a multiple-choice assessment test measuring basic
academic preparedness in Reading, Math, Science, and English. The objectives
assessed in this test are those that Nursing and Allied Health educators deem
most relevant for measuring entry level skills and abilities of program
applicants. The test not only predicts the performance of incoming candidates,
it also helps educators gain advance knowledge of the strengths and areas
needing development of those that are accepted into the program. TEAS test are
only good for one academic year (August to May).
LVN
to RN Spring and Fall 2021 Bridge Program:
TEAS testing will begin on CBC campuses from August 7, 2020 to Oct. 16, 2020
for the upcoming Spring 2021 semester. TEAS test are given at 9 a.m.
every Friday throughout testing months. Please call a campus below to schedule
a date to test. The TEAS test minimum score is
70% to receive an application. TEAS testing is proctored at the
Alice, Beeville and Pleasanton sites. TEAS testing for the Fall 2021
semester will begin August 7, 2020 to April 23, 2021.
LVN
Summer 2021 Program:
TEAS testing will begin on CBC campuses from Aug. 7, 2020 to Feb. 19, 2021 for
the LVN Summer program. TEAS test are given at 9 a.m. every Friday throughout
testing months. Please call a campus below to schedule a date to test. The TEAS test minimum score is 45% to receive an
application. TEAS testing is proctored at the Alice, Beeville and
Pleasanton sites.
Traditional RN
Program for Fall 2021:
The Fall 2021 Traditional RN Program will start in August 2021.The TEAS test
minimum score is 50% to receive an application. TEAS testing dates are Oct. 23,
2020 to April 30, 2021 and are proctored at the Alice, Beeville and
Pleasanton sites.
Scheduling
the exam
· All scores must be submitted to Coastal Bend College through the
ATI testing website.
· The TEAS test is available at our Alice, Beeville and Pleasanton
CBC locations. To schedule at the site of your choice please contact a Nursing
Support Specialist below for that campus. Provide your name, the date you want
to test and a current telephone number and email address.
· You can test three times per academic year (Aug.- May). The fee
for testing is $70 + tax for each attempt.

Before your test date, you will need to create a log in and
password at atitesting.com.
The
Day of the Exam
· Arrive on the date you selected approx. 15 minutes early.
· Bring to the test a valid picture ID, a debit/credit or pre-paid
card to pay for the test fee of $70 plus tax on that day, also bring 2 pencils.
Cell phones will need to be turned off and put away from desk area.
