• Vocational Nursing Program Information
     
    The CBC Vocational Nursing Day Program is a 12-month (3 semesters) program in which you will learn the skills you need to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Classes start every June and are usually from 8 am – 5 pm Monday thru Thursday with some online work scheduled for Fridays.
    The CBC Vocational Nursing evening / weekend program is a 15 months (4 semesters) program. Classes are Tuesday - Saturday. Classes begin at 5:30 pm and depending on the class/lab day, class will end no later than 10:30 pm.
    Clinical rotations vary from 8 hour or 12 hour shifts, with times ranging from 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM and &:00 AM to &:00 PM. The evening /weekend program may have clinical rotations on Saturdays and Sundays where applicable. 
     
    Application procedure:
    1. Schedule and take the TEAS exam. 
    2. Receive an application packet after taking and scoring 45% or better on the TEAS exam. 
    3. Complete the application packet and submit it by the deadline. 
    4. Await an email to see if you have been selected by the Selection Committee. 
    5. Return your acceptance letter.
