Hunter Wilson, a Falfurrias Texas native, received his associates of applied science in welding from Coastal Bend College. He spent the majority of his professional career as a rig welder in the oil and gas industry, the agricultural industry, and the pipeline industry before becoming a welding instructor.  

 Hunter is passionate about sharing his experience and knowledge of the welding industry with his students and helping make them as employable as possible while continuing to be active in the welding industry and keeping up with the industrial welding certifications he currently holds. When time allows, he enjoys competitive shooting sports, hunting and fishing.
