• The Science Department at Coastal Bend College offers a wide array of courses in natural sciences for degree completion, transfer to 4 year institutions and personal interests. Whether you desire to become a chemist, engineer, health care professional, or complete another degree requirement, you will find what you are looking for in the CBC Science Department. Courses in Biology offered include: Nutrition, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Environmental Science, Principles of Biology, and Microbiology.  We also offer courses in Geoscience, Physics, and Chemistry.  Our faculty enjoy teaching and helping both traditional and non-traditional students to appreciate the science field.  We look forward to having you in our classes, and helping you to reach your science goals.  Our mission is to help you succeed.
