To make an appointment for TSIA2 Testing over the phone - you will need to complete the following steps:

Not planning to be a CBC student - be aware that CBC will administer the TSIA2 exam to only our CBC students during May - August - due to the high volume of traffic during this time. September - April we will be glad to administer the TSIA2 exam to non-CBC students.

TSI Exemptions
If you are not exempt - then you go ahead and follow the steps below to make your appointment for TSI Testing.

TSI Testing - Call the CBC Beeville Testing Site (361-354-2334 - Mondays - Thursdays - 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. ) & pay your TSI fee, complete the TSI Pre-Assessment Activity, and submit the Request for Voucher Form, so you can make your appointment. You may pay with a credit card over the phone.
The fee for TSI testing is $10.00 for the Math section and $20.00 for the English Language Arts and Reading Section.
No refunds.

The Testing Personnel will e-mail you a copy of your receipt along with instructions to complete the TSIA Pre-Assessment Activity and the Request for Voucher Form.

Please complete your Coastal Bend College Application: To get a CBC ID prospective CBC students must fill out and submit the Apply Texas Application. It may take five (5) business days for CBC to receive the application after you submit it to Apply Texas. You will need the CBC ID number to take the TSI Assessment exam if you will be a CBC student.

(2b) Once you've paid the fee and received your receipt #, complete the New 2022 Mandatory Pre-Assessment Activity

Be aware that the examinee must forward the e-mail that they receive after they complete the new TSI Pre-Assessment Activity - showing that they've completed it to CBCProctor@coastalbend.edu before they will be allowed to test. If the examinee is testing with a CBC TRIO advisor - they must e-mail the proof of completion to their TRIO Advisor.]
and submit your  Remote Testing Voucher Form
(to TSIA2 test at other institutions/to TSIA2 test in person at CBC site) - please go to the CBC Online Scheduling Site.

You will first Register - to create an account / then Click Login and enter your e-mail address and the password that you created.

Select your CBC Test Site / Session or Sessions / and then enter your information. For the Exam Type - enter TSIA2. Then in the field for Course Information - you will enter - TSIA2. Then in the TSIA2 field enter - " TSIA2- and section /Date of when payment was made / Receipt # / Amount paid / and that you've completed the PAA and submitted the Voucher Request Form.

Be aware that you may need to schedule multiple sessions if you are taking the complete TSI. It may take an individual anywhere from one (1) to three (3) hours per TSI section. Therefore if you are taking the entire exam in one day - it could take three (3) to six (6) hours. So you may need to schedule a morning appointment & afternoon appointments.

Make you appointment/(s) as soon as possible to guarantee your seat for testing.

Go to: www.coastalbend.edu/tsiresource/ and practice before you come in for testing. This is very beneficial for you.

On the scheduled exam date – have your Photo ID and know your CBC ID#
