Open Records Request

TPIA Resolution 2024

The Texas Public Information Act (TPIA) gives the public the right to request access to government information already in existence. The Act does not require Coastal Bend College to create new records, perform legal research, or answer general questions. For additional details, see Coastal Bend College Board Policy linked here.

To Request Information:

Before you submit a public information request, please review the Coastal Bend College website. The information you are seeking may be available online.

Your request must be in writing, delivered in person, sent by U.S. mail or e-mail. Under the Public Information Act, only written requests trigger the District's obligation to provide a response.
