CBC Hosts Inaugural Diamonds of Distinction Celebration for Women’s History Month

BEEVILLE, Texas (March 24, 2026) — Coastal Bend College proudly hosted its inaugural Diamonds of Distinction celebration, honoring Women’s History Month and recognizing the impact and leadership of women across the Coastal Bend region.

Community members, local leaders, faculty, staff, and students gathered at the Peter S. Marecek Physical Fitness Center for an evening of inspiration and well-deserved recognition. The event featured a dynamic panel of accomplished women who shared personal and professional insights, highlighting themes of perseverance, leadership, and the importance of creating opportunities for future generations.

Community Engagement

In addition to the panel discussion, attendees engaged with a variety of local organizations represented by women leaders during a community resource fair held prior to the program. The fair provided meaningful opportunities for connection and offered insight into the many services available throughout the region.
