I grew up and attended school in Refugio.  I am a Texas A&M University-Kingsville (TAMUK) alumnus who received my Bachelor of Arts (2002) and Master of Arts (2005) in Sociology.  I completed my doctorate in Educational Leadership at TAMUK (2021).  

I have enjoyed working in higher education.  I get the chance to travel, learn how different schools function, and even work with those who are in primary and secondary schools.    

My social activities primarily surround attending sporting events, family celebrations, and musical events.  I listen to different genres of music and hope to someday be more efficient at learning to play instruments. Additionally, traveling to Athens, Greece (2014) and Madrid, Spain (2017) were optimal experiences.  I look forward to my next destination abroad.
