National Support Resources

- Available 24/7, this organization helps people with mental health challenges by connecting callers with trained crisis volunteers who will provide confidential advice, support and referrals if needed.

Local Support Resources
Coastal Plains Community Center: A team of professionals is standing by to assist you if you are struggling with a mental health crisis. Crisis services are provided 24-hrs a day, seven days a week for all people in the service area who feel they need assistance with a behavioral health crisis. All information shared is strictly confidential.

Catholic Charities
: Provides counseling services (individuals and family) for the following counties in the CBC service areas: Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Live Oak, and McMullen.

Connections (Individual & Family Therapy)
: Provides counseling services and have several locations throughout the college district. Some of the counseling services include: crisis intervention, individual counseling, group counseling, and support groups. Connections offers a 24-hour Crisis Hotline at 1-800-532-8192. They serve residents in the following counties (within college district): Atascosa, Bee, and Karnes-- call (830) 629-6571 to schedule an appointment or learn more about their services.

Methodist Healthcare Ministries
: Provides counseling services and health care services for the community.
