Coastal Bend College Accreditation

Coastal Bend College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. Coastal Bend College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Programmatic Accreditation

The AAS in Radiologic Technology (coastalbend.edu/radiology/ program is accredited by The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT www.jrcert.org). As of January 23, 2024, the program has been placed on probation. A progress report will be submitted to the JRCERT by December 1, 2024.
The AAS in Dental Hygiene program (coastalbend.edu/dental) is accredited by Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) (https://www.ada.org/en/coda).
The AAS in Vocational Nursing and RN programs (coastalbend.edu/nursing) are accredited by the Texas State Board of Nursing (https://www.bon.texas.gov/education_programs.asp)
