Coastal Bend College Fall 2025 Commencement Information
Graduates from the Alice, Beeville, Kingsville and Pleasanton Sites will participate in the commencement exercises at the Peter S. Marecek Physical Fitness Center at the Beeville location on Friday, December 19, 2025. Fall 2025 commencement ceremonies will recognize Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 graduates.
NOTE: You may only walk if you marked “Yes” to the question: Do you plan to participate in the graduation ceremony?”

Commencement Guest Seating
Doors will be open one (1) hour prior to the ceremony. CBC uses a guest ticketing system. Each student will be allowed four (4) guest tickets. Ticketing information will be sent to the students via their CBC email. Children 4 & under do not require tickets.

Q: When is graduation?
Fall - CBC’s commencement ceremonies will take place on December 19, 2025.
Q: Will there be a rehearsal before the commencement ceremonies?

Q: Where will the commencement ceremonies take place?
Commencement ceremonies for all CBC locations will take place at CBC Beeville, which is located at 3800 Charco Road. All ceremonies will take place inside of the Peter S. Marecek Physical Fitness Center (gym).
Q: Is there a graduation for each CBC location?
No. CBC conducts all commencement ceremonies for graduates, which are hosted at the Beeville location. These ceremonies are hosted for graduates at all CBC locations and graduates from the off-sites will participate in the commencement ceremonies on December 19, 2025.
Q: What time should graduates arrive for graduation?
10:00 a.m. ceremony arrives at 8:30 a.m. in Auditorium
Q: What time do the doors open for graduation?
Doors open one hour before each ceremony. Doors will be locked 15 minutes prior to the ceremony beginning or prior to if capacity is met (at the determination of the Director of Public Safety). Once doors are locked, no one will be able to enter the area.
Q: What am I allowed to bring to graduation if I am a graduate?
Please do not bring your bags and/or purse with you to graduation because there will not be a designated place for you to keep your personal belongs safe.
Q: Who is allowed to come to graduation?
CBC has incorporated a guest ticketing system. Each student will receive 4 guest tickets. More information will be sent out via CBC email to potential graduates.
Q: Where do I purchase my cap & gown?
CBC Bookstore. Contact bookstore at 361-354-2290 for more information. All graduates must wear a black cap and gown, or they risk not being able to participate in commencement ceremonies.
Q: What should graduates wear under their cap & gown?
Students should wear their “Sunday’s Best” underneath their cap & gown.
Q: What hashtag should I use for graduation?
Students who are graduating from CBC should utilize the official hash tag of their class: #CBCGrad25. In addition, please feel free to utilize the College’s official hashtag: #CBCRocks.
