Enrollment Certification
All enrollment certifications (VA Form 22-1999) are transmitted electronically to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Office using Enrollment Manager.
Monthly Enrollment Verification
Students receiving benefits under Chapter 30 or Chapter 1606 must verify their enrollment at the end of each month using one of the following methods:
- Web Automated Verification of Enrollment (WAVE)
Verify your enrollment online through the VA Enrollment Verification website . - Interactive Voice Response (IVR)
Verify your enrollment by phone at 1-877-823-2378.
Report Enrollment Changes
Students receiving VA education benefits are responsible for notifying the Coastal Bend College Veterans Affairs Office immediately of any changes to their enrollment, including adding or dropping courses, withdrawing, or changing enrollment status. Prompt notification helps prevent payment delays and possible VA overpayments.
Advance Pay
Coastal Bend College does not participate in the VA Advance Payment Program.

To begin or update your direct deposit information, call 1-877-838-2778.
Address Changes
Students are responsible for keeping their mailing address current with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. To update your address, call 1-888-442-4551. Press 1, then 0 when the recording begins to speak with a representative.
Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (Chapter 31)
Students with a service-connected disability may be eligible for Chapter 31 benefits. For eligibility information, contact the nearest VA Vocational Rehabilitation office at (361) 854-7731.
Military Personnel Records
Request copies of military personnel records through the National Archives Veterans' Service Records .
